Everybody loses a tooth, and the loss usually takes place upon ultimate stress inflicted on one human. Science quite soon will probably be able to fully replace lost teeth, with complete biologically compatible replacements. For some people who save and memorize everything their tooth serves as amulets. The people who value their own body and body parts the most achieve much more than others.
